Plan Uganda trains staff on young people safe guarding policy

At least 50 new staff across all program areas of Plan International Uganda completed a three days training on children and young people safe guarding policy training at Collins Hotel Mukono

The main objectives of the training was to enable staff understand the organisations child protection programming implementation standards, create awareness on the children and young people safe guarding policy and the child protection code of conducts and ethics.

While closing the event, the Interim Head of Programmes Mr. Jean- Claude Angaye advised participants to apply the knowledge acquired during the training either during business or any planning action as a guildline for all their activities especially involving children.

He concluded: ” I Want to congratulate all of you for the good work done,”
